Tropical and bright with a full palate of flavor and a potency designed with moderation in mind, Jai Low IPA lowers the intensity of a typical India Pale Ale while maintaining the highest quality and hop flavor possible. All the qualities found in the finest IPAs, including citrus aromas and flavors, bread-like maltiness, and a moderate, snappy bitterness are found, making this beer a deceptively tempered addition to Cigar City Brewing’s line-up of hop-forward creations.

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Almost clear pale amber, mid sized head. Mild peachy, piney nose. Mid sweet with thin body and clean mouthfeel. Peach, apricot and pine. Resinous bitter finish. Feels more like 2% than 4% in it's thinness and sharpness.

Crisp, perfectly clear copper and bronze coloured body with a thick two to three centimetre tall off-white head that is large-bubbled and a bit ugly. Aroma of very strong hops with a lot of grapefruit, citrusey and herbal scents along with some softer sugars and a touch of crisp malts, but no real punch. Medium-bodied; Strong hoppy flavours dominate with a lot of bitterness from grapefruit and pine, but also some lighter herbal and grassiness that still adds to the bitterness. Aftertaste shows some light biscuity and slightly grainy malts, but the citrusey notes and pure hop bitterness are by far the strongest. Overall,  a nice and relatively mild beer with real bitterness and a bunch of flavours along with a moderate complexity, all while being very easy drinking and still rich, but low in alcohol. Good to sample and a very enjoyable Light IPA. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Giant Food in Alexandria (Potomac Yard),  Virginia on 22-October-2020 for US$1,99 sampled at my house here in Washington on 20-November-2020.

12 oz can from Joe Canals, 10/24/22. Golden-orange color with a beige head, streaky lace. Herbal, grainy, spice, and a little grass. Slight citrus zest later on. A touch thin, but it's fine overall.

Can, Kroger harrisonburg. Pretty orange with a soft off-white head. Light orange peel, cardboard nose. Nice hop flavors: orange, grapefruit peel, light pine, but lacking any malt backbone. Some wet cardboard/paper in there that is typical in sessions. Light envelope glue in the finish. Good for a session, but just not a fan of session IPAs generally.
