330ml bottle at home on 18th Oct 2020. Dark for a Munich Helles, this is amber, white topping. Really enjoyed this, malty and pretty sweet throughout. If you are into malty molasses and the aroma/taste they can bring to a beer, then this will delight you.

Bottle at home, picked up at the brewery, 24/06/20. Clear copper to amber with a handsome lasting just off white cap. A real looker of a beer ! Nose is caramel malts, dried fruits, toasted brown sugar, sultanas, fruit cake. Taste comprises caramel, brown bread, light nutty twang, brown sugar dusting, Soreen malt loaf, dried fruits, mellow bitter kiss. Medium bodied, fine massaging carbonation, semi drying close with a hint of booze at the curtain call. Top notch bock bier.

23rd May 2020. Bottle in the garden, expected a Helles, but this was still very good, dark caramel colour, hazy. Aroma is caramel, molasses, malty. Taste is rich, molasses, caramel, bittersweet, some resin, treacle, light pith. Interesting and good, tastes quite Germanic

Thin rocky off white head soon left a collar on an opaque dark reddish brown still body. Sweet aroma of syrup, sugar, malt & spices. Medium bodied, smooth over the tongue with a sticky feel & cloying back. Malt, caramel, demerara, spices, peach & faint citrus tastes with long tangy bitter finish. Nice one.
