Day 2 of the Bamberg Jolly 25/01/2014. Bottle from the brewery shared on the train. Yellow straw coloured pour, clear and bright. Fleeting white head. Aroma is lemon zest hop and some cereal, lager notes. Flavour is clean crisp lemon hop, clean pilsner malts. Dryish crisp hoppy finish.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein goldgelbes Bier mit durchschnittlicher Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig, getreidig, leicht herb. Geschmack malzig würzig, getreidig, minimale Bitterkeit.

Day 2 of the post Xmas Bamberg Jolly, bottle shared on the train from Erlangen to Bamberg, 25/01/14. Golden with a moderate off white covering that stays for the show. Nose is grassy, light caramel, earthy citric ring. Taste comprises bready dough, grass, lemon rind, tea leaves, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry grassy bitterness in the finish. Ok Helles nothing Id return to though.

Bottle, 4.6%. Good malty aroma, dusty with a mild sweetish hop note. Clear golden colour. Very small white head. The flavour is malty with a sweetish hint. Nice mild flowery and spicy hop note. Slight rough bitterness, but clean.

Bottle. Pours clear pale golden with small white head. Clear aroma of yeast and hops, with touches of cardboard and malt. Bitter flavour of hops and metal, with sweetish, estery notes and a cardboardlike finish. Acceptable but too metallic.
