Bottle from Cairngorm Brewery. It pours clear medium brown with a medium beige head. The aroma is sweet, toasty, brown bread, malt loaf, caramel, toffee, pie crust, dried fruits and fruit cake. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, toasty grain, nutty, brown bread, earth, leather, tannin, malt loaf, touch of spicenand soke burnt toast with a drying finish. Average body and moderate carbonation. Not bad.
