(Bottle sample @ MBCC 2017 Green Session, Copenhagen) Pours lightly hazy amber with a white head. Notes of green apples, stone fruit, apple skin, touch of grape, wet hay, pretty heavy oak, very tannic, light to moderate lemon acidity, touch of grainy malt, a little residual sweetness maybe?, fair amount of leather. Medium bodied, touch oily, quite low carbonation. No real cognac obvious to me. My least favourite of the Daltons because the barrel character was the least distinctive, but that still makes it a pretty solid gueuze.
