Little Bitter That is made from five English hops: Target, Challenger, Progress, East Kent Goldings and Bramling Cross to give it a satisfying fruity hop taste and aroma, balanced against a strong malt backbone.

Here at The Brew Foundation we have been toying with the idea of doing a session strength copper coloured ale for a while now so when the guys at the Little Tap in Tarporley got in touch wanting a 3.8% bitter for their new bar we just couldn’t resist!

Hand-pulled pint at The Crown Inn, Oakengates Shropshire on 15th Nov 2019. Deep amber colour, off-white head. Although this has a malty nose and taste it is very, very bitter and earthy in nature. I had to buy a half-pint of Mild to help me finish the beer, by adding it to my pint.
