Grandslam is bursting with aroma and flavour, leading to a bone-dry moreish finish. The late addition of three US hop varieties produces a fantastically fruity nose with hints of apricot, tangerine, white grape, passion fruit and pineapple along with light fresh herbal aromas of coriander and pine.

330ml bottle from Beer 52; BB 18th Jan 2020. Drank at home on 27th Apr 2019. Pale golden pour, white crown. Very dry on the palate with some citrus movement in both the nose and taste, bitter throughout.

[33cl bottle from the Beer52 box for March.] A pale straw coloured pour with a thick white head and medium carbonation; floral aroma with yeast and a little lemon; light grainy body with more yeast; and a gentle floral bitterness in the finish. A pleasant Brut IPA.

Given the strength of it this is a surprisingly mellow IPA. Bitter, hoppy citrus smell and it's a lemony hop flavour with the champagney quality from the yeast and a lingering dry finish. Not bad but doesn't have much kick from the strength.
