07/28/19 Had this a couple times on tap at the Maui facility, but I always ended up gravitating towards something else shiny. This rate is from a can I grabbed at Island Gourmet Market, which is a subsidiary of the ABC chain. Pint glass at home. Hazy golden yellow brew. Big, lathery head. Floral, yeasty, with a very mild, unidentifiable fruit. Yeasty, fruity like apple, salt. Minerally, toasty, mellow yet lingering herbal bitterness. Frothy, textures & easy. Subtle.

Can from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours light, bright gold with a creamy white head that fizzed away. Aroma is fruity with some bready support. Med minus body. A bit fizzy. Flavor is equal parts fruity and bready. Tingle in the mouth. Fairly dry. Lightly bitter. Pool beer.

15th March 2019; part of a Flight at The Brewhouse, San Juan Capistrano. Light golden body, clean and clear, fast fading white head. Fruity aroma and taste (for a Kolsch) with a semi-sweet malty base to work with. An interesting twist to a style I struggle to find exciting usually.

Pour is a almost clear gold with a a large white head. Aroma is some bready malt with some tropical fruit in the backround. Flavor is again a clean dry malt with a little tropical fruit there. Not a huge use of the fruit but just enough that it kind of takes away from the kolsch aspects.
