8th Dec 2018; cask half-pint in the Bridgnorth Wetherspoon pub. Funny Christmas beer really, nothing linking it to the season apart from the pump clip. Golden body, white topping. Weak and uninteresting, slight citrus leanings in both the aroma and taste, but pretty bland all round for a wintertime brew.

[Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell.] A hazy amber pour with a tight cream head; citrusy aroma; citrusy taste with a grainy body; and a lemony finish. Not bad, though an unusual choice of style for a Christmas beer.
