Festbier, heuer mit 5,9 %, vom Faß im Lemke am Schloss zum Oktoberfest-tauglichen Abzockpreis von 12,90 € für die Maß, obwohl wir hier nicht im schönen München sondern im Reichshauptslum (Don Alphonso) sind. - Schönes Kupferrotgold, klar. - In der Nase satte karamellige Süße, ein wenig Bierwürze und aromatische herbale Hopfung. - Antrunk weich und kernig karamell mit dezenter Waldhonigsüße und kerniger, leicht ätherisch-herbaler und orangenbitterer Hopfung. Milder rezent, vollmundig, weich. Im Abgang stattliche, bissige Hopfenherbe. - Robustes, ansprechendes Festbier, solide malzig und großzügig gehopft. Klasse! (6.10.2023.)

On-tap at Brauhaus Lemke Hackescher Markt, Berlin on 11th October 2021. Mini haze to the amber body, thin off-white head. Caramel nose with a light fruity aroma once it warmed a little. Taste also dominated by malty molasses with caramel being the main flavour. My sweet tooth liked it.

Tap at the brewpub Hackescher Markt, labeled as 5.5% alc. Slightly hazy amber-orange color with eggshell head. Aroma is grains, caramel, apricots. Taste is caramel, grains, bready, some yeasts, honey, toasted malts. Oily mouthfeel. Nicely balanced. A very pleasant surprise!

From tap. Pours cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma is breadish, roasted and light caramelish. Toasted and breadish, light bitter finish.

Draught. Clear amber brown with a thin head. Aroma is sweet fruit hop. Flavour starts sweet, some soft fruits but quickly turns a peppery bitter hop. Finish is very dry bittersweet.
