Rerate from tap, Frisches Bier, 8.0%.Still great looks, broad roast, a hint chili, chewy drinking chocolate, some spice, cinnamon and chili, fruity, pleasant dark choc finish. 8 5 8 4 16 Old rating: 8 5 8 5 18 8.7% Bottle. Black, dark brown creamy lacing head. Chili dark chocolate and coffee roast aroma, orangepeel, grassy and light chalky notes. Fullbodied, chewy, yet foamy and light. The light well-balanced touch continues: Dark chocolate, sufficient sweetness, a hint chili burn, broad hoppiness, grassy, orangepeel, herbal, perhaps a tad too resinny towards the end. Light perfumed orangeoil finish. Really great!

(bottle, 33cl) Black coloured hue with a ruby shine and a beige and firm mid-sized foamy head. Earthy and slightly roasted malty aroma with hints of chocolate, mocha and chili spice, accompanied by mildly piney hops. Mildly roasted bitter flavour, medium to full bodied with a soft carbonation. Mildly roasted malty start with present notes of milk chocolate, mocha and a whiff of piney hops; quite balanced bitter-sweet finish with a chili-spicy edge in the aftertaste. 14.VI.17

Bottle 330ml. @ home. [ As Raven / Yankee & Kraut Chilli Double Cream Black IPA ].[ Trade by Beerhunter111 ]. Clear dark dark black brown colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted. chocolate, coffee, dusty, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, fruity hops, wood, licorice. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, roasted, chocolate, fruity hops, woody hops, chili hot finsh - on the nice side off hot for me. Body is medium, texture is oily - creamy, carbonation is soft. [20170622] 9-4-8-4-16

33cl bottle. A black beer with a huge good lasting tan head. Dark roasted malt, coffee and bitter hops in the aroma. Taste of dark roasted malt, coffee, bitter coffee beans, bitter hops, hints of chili, very nice!

Tap. Black color with beige head. Aroma is coffee, chocolate, a touch of chili. Taste is chocolate, coffee, lacto, and just a tiny little bite of chili. Amazing balance, amazing beer.

Draught at BeerGeek Bar. Dark red to black colored. AROMA- roasted malts, hop resins, chocolate, touch of chilli. FLAVOR- lightly sweet, bitter, moderately chilli hot, chocolate, hops. Medium to fuller bodied.

Tap at Beergeek. Very dark chestnut brown color with medium beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, hops, caramel, chilli. Taste, roasted malt, caramel, chilli, citrus hops. Long citrus hoppy bitter finish.
