Bottle at home from Base Camp. Pours black with beige head. Nose is a nice combination of dark chocolate, light cocoa powder, faint hoppy bitterness and chili. Taste is dark chocolate, light coffee, pine, cocoa powder and chili upfront - not yet hot tho. Then some bitterness joins the party and also the spicyness of the chili appears - borderline too hot for me, but nothing too bad. Keep in mind that I'm not particularly fond of hot food. Really well balanced and nicely rounded.

# 1966; 4/2020. Strong and nice chocolate aroma. Dark brown body, tany, long lasting, creamy head. At first sweet chocolate flavor, than creamy bitter and on the end is chilli fire. Excelent background for chilli. 0,7 l, bottle, brewpub, Pilsen (Bohemia, CZ).

330ml bottle. Opaque, darkest brown colour with average to huge, thick, creamy, mostly lasting, moderately lacing, beige to tan head. Chocolately, dark malty aroma, slightly resinous and fruity hoppy counterweight, hints of bramble and blueberry, a minimally bretty touch. Taste is dry, roasty, chocolately dark malty and bitter, resinous hoppy, additionally peppery spicy, some residual sweetness, notes of dark chocolate, some caramel, a touch of honey, fruity hints of bramble and blueberry, accumulating chili spiciness; creamy texture, lively carbonation. Chili and carbonation stress the palate.
