0.33 l bottle from ’Gall & Gall’ (Zaltbommel), best before March 2018. Clear, very dark red to black with a thin, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty and a bit fruity aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, some licorice and hints of dark fruits. Moderately sweet, malty, slightly roasty and minimally fruity taste of dark chocolate, coffee, some licorice and traces of dark fruits, followed by a short, moderately roasty-bitter, only slightly earthy finish. Medium body, a bit creamy and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very decent Stout, nice surprise actually!

Bottle shared with some of the RB hardcore tickers. Cheers guys! Clear red-brown color, virtually no head. Aroma is malts, a bit old an dusty. Taste malts, toasted malts, dark malt, slight malt bitter but also a slight sweet note. Average body, low carbonation. Meh.
