Welsh Amber Ale. Named after the Warrior Lleu from the legend of the Mabinogi, the famous Welsh tales which have their roots in Dyffryn Nantlle. Lleu was a unique, strong appealing and memorable character and we have worked hard to convey these features in our beer.

Bottle at home as birthday gift. Deep golden colour with a white head. Aroma and taste are malty slight. Utter to fruity sweet citrus. Light body.

Bottle from Stori. Appearance - amber with a quickly disappearing head. Nose - caramel and cereal. Taste - nittiness again this time. Overall, a Hobnob biscuit feel to this. Palate - light to medium bodied. Tangy, creamy and a little sweet. Overall - a solid citizen. There are a lot of beers quite similar to this kicking about.

Bottle from Gwin Llyn Wine Shop, Pwllheli. Amber with a copper glow and next to no head. Gritty hoppy tasting as there's good grainy, and some bread notes to be found within. Has a mild sweetness in its nose.

Gravity poured half-pint at the 8th Annual Beer Festival at The Bridge End Inn, Ruabon on 25th August 2017. Decent looking pour, clear amber body with a full head that lasted. Caramel sweet from start to finish, my sweet tooth taking to it straight away, the aroma was enough to start it ’itching’. Si if you like sweet malty molasses this is one to look out for.
