Two cask pints, hand-pulled at The Crown Inn, Oakengates Shropshire on 22nd April 2017. Orange/amber body, off-white topping. Hop centric brew, didn’t pick up the claimed Rye useage or piney, resinous hop notes either: thought it a decent enough brew and a ’little different’ but couldn’t put my finger on what was unusual about it. Had the second pint and read the pump clip to help me identify the aroma and flavours: I failed, but liked the beer.

Cask hand pull at the crown Berko. A clear golden orange coloured pour with lasting thin white head. Aroma is si sweet pale malts, orange and tangerine, little perfume citrus, wheat. Flavour is composed of wheat pale grains, zesty citrus, semi sweet grains, tangerine. Soft white bread. Palate is semi sweet, soft and mellow good cask condition.
