A traditional pale ale with a punchy hop finish and aroma. Finest quality roasted malts provide a subtle but full, malty, fruity background to showcase the herbal, berry flavours from traditional English hop varieties. Hoppy Holidays will pair well with sweet and fruity flavours; like glazed ham, chutneys, pickles and Christmas pudding.

Bottle from B&M, Halifax. Clear copper coloured with a bubbly-frothy head. It's a bitter in style but is a fairly sweet one with some caramels evident in both aroma and taste.

Frothy beige head quickly left a cover on a lightly effervescent, copper coloured body. Very fruity aroma, slightly hoppy. Medium to thin body, crisp, clean & a little tickle on the tongue. Nondescript fruitiness, relatively sweet on the palate with a long bitter, hoppy back. Not very Hoppy & not very Christmassy

500ml Bottle: BBD 31 Oct 17, shared with my son on 11th Dec 16 (at home). Amber/copper coloured beer with an off-white head. Aroma of malty molasses and dark berries. Taste was also malty, semi-sweet and again with traces of dark berries. Slightly disappointed to be honest, not very Christmasy at all.
