4.9% Mashed with an unprecedented 40 percent rye malt to give a full bodied, spicy rye-bread richness to the beer. This is finished with a healthy dose of three US hops: Nugget & Columbus for complementary spicy/earthy notes with Citra to give a fresh fruity finish.

Cask-conditioned at No.1 Harbourside, Bristol, October 2016. Deep amber with a tight, off-white head. Plenty of tropical fruit, earthy, slightly bready malts and a hint of roast before a dryish finish. Pleasant.

A cask conditioned half-pint in The Pheasant, Wellington Shropshire on 9th Nov 2016. Light amber bodied, with a slight red hue, the head a beige affair. Rye like aroma and taste with some bready flavours alongside. didn’t pick up any citra hop notes, so happy with that! Decent.
