This beer was labelled as ’Tanheister Extra’ at the 2016 International Green Week festival in Berlin. Thanks to FatPhil and Marduk for finding it’s ’regular Latvian name’ just for me: I had better write something nice about it I suppose! Well it came in a lovely glass, the deposit was almost as much as the beer price. Pale old gold in colour, fading white head on this draught offering. Malts rule the aroma and taste, semi-sweet with a grainy feel throughout. Some bitterness below the surface and overall not bad.
