11/2/2022. Cask at the 12th Elysian Winter Beer Festival. Pours clear golden amber with a small frothy white head. Aroma of citrus, malt, straw, caramel, slight herbal spicy edge. Moderate sweetness and bitterness. Medium body, slightly oily, average carbonation. Dry finish. Pretty good.

Handpull cask at the Kingston Arms, Cambridge. Somewhere between deep golden and tawny brown. Clear as a bell with very little head. Aroma is woody, grainy, hoppy, slightly astringent. Don’t know whether to drink it or polish my deck with it... I think I’ll drink it. Really bitter with effective use of bittering hops. Finish is fairly short but there’s a welcome lingering astringency on the tongue. As simple as you like, and a very traditional brew, but refreshing.

Gravity poured half-pint on 26th Aug 2015 at the Peterborough Beer Festival. Golden body, wispy topping. Citrus front to the brew, New Zealand hops apparently, fairly bitter too. Not really by thing to be honest. Scored objectively.
