Cask: hand-pulled pint on 17th July 2015 in The Crown Inn, Oakengates. Clear blonde body with a white topping that gave off so good lacing. Floral hop nose and taste with a light malty undertone. Decent.

Cask handpull at Ship & Mitre, Liverpool. Pale gold, thin off white head. Slightly sweaty sox, but a rather good citrusy hoppy beer. Some good hop aroma, nice bite on finish. Typical pale gold Phoenix beer, and I like it. Good biting hop.

Cask, Head of Steam, Liverpool. Had to try this as a prelude to watching one of the greatest men’s finals in wimbledon history...just a pity my money was on Federer ! This was a pale golden affair with a thin white head. Drunk in haste, but very refreshing notes of citrus and hop. Would seek out again.
