Cask-conditioned at the Pelican, Gloucester, 5/6/2015. Amber with a decent, white, head. Stone fruits, biscuity malts, some leafy hops and a moderately bitter finish. Good.

13th June 2015: cask pint in the St Georges Sports and Social Club (Shropshire). Golden to copper body with a good white head that produced some impressive lacing. Really fruity in nature, an apple like aroma and taste dominated the beer for me. Stewed apples came to mind as it was on the sweet side, couldn’t get that thought or flavour out of my head. Jester hops are supposed to be about tropical fruit and grapefruit I am led to believe: well I got apples!
