Cask@O'Hara's, Tampere. Hazy amber colour with a mediumsized beige head. Aroma is lemon, lime, some honey and mild grainy tones. Flavour is citrus, some grains, mild wood and mild herbal tones too.

12th June 2015: two hand-pulled cask pints in The Cock Hotel, Wellington Shropshire. Really enjoyed the beers (hence the second pint), mid-amber body with a lasting white crown, beer clear and clean looking. Sweeter than I expected with fruit esters battling with the malts for domination in both the nose and flavours. Mild bitterness in the finish but this is leaning towards the sweeter end of the UK Golden Ale style.

Cask@Beer Hunter’s 2.6.2013 Slightly hazy amber color, quite big creamy beigeish head. Lemony aroma with hints of honeyish sweetness. Light bodied. Watery front, lemon, some wood in the flavor. Refreshing but simple.

Cask @ O’Hara’s Freehouse
Aroma has peaches and fruit candy. Flavour has fruits, apricot, peach, some hay, caramel and fruit candy. Some slight hay-like off-flavour in the finish. Not your typical golden ale – more like a light amber ale. Decent.

Cask (gravity) at the Fat Cat, Ipswich. Amber ale, quite clear, with an off white head. Malt aroma, grainy. Rather thin. Was ok, but nothing really sets it apart.

Cask at the Bell, Waltham St Lawrence. Slightly hazy amber with a ring of white head; sweet, malty aroma, perhaps a touch of honey; thin and watery, with a dry biscuity malt taste, and a dry finish. Another unremarkable summer ale.
