Hand-pulled pint in a random pub just off the A1 up in Northumberland on 23rd Oct 2014. Clear, bright, golden amber with a wispy white head that stayed a while. Nice blend in the nose and taste, malts first on both senses, light and semi-sweet but slightly stronger than the floral and fruity hops. Mild bitter finish to a well balanced brew that I really enjoyed: in good condition too.

Cask, gravity dispensed, at the Cambridge Blue, Cambridge. Amber with a ring of white head; malt aroma; watery body with some caramel malt flavours; and good English hops giving a bitter finish. An OK bitter but not particularly autumnal.
