Cask @ The Unicorn, Manchester. Deep amber ale with a sweet aroma and next to no head. Has a fusion of hops and malts but is quite sweet in the main. Nothing that different or outstanding.

Two hand-pulled pints at The Pheasant, Admaston, Telford on 2nd Sep 2014, sat in the sun half way through a long dog walk. Looked good on both pours: mahogany red hue to the deep amber body, a creamy off-white blanket on top which gave off an impressive sleeve of lacing on each glass. Malty nose and taste, with toffee and caramel to the fore: so semi-sweet in nature. There is a calming mini citrus hop presence but this is primarily a malt based brew and I liked it.
