On tap at Monkey Paw, pours an opaque bright pinkish red with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out subdued beet juice upfront, with even more subdued resinous hops. Flavour is big on the resinous hops upfront, with only a touch of beets. From the appearance, one would expect much more beet presence, and I'd actually like some more. Solid IIPA as is.

On my flight in the Brewpub on 18th March 2014. Strange baby really, mine came leaning towards ’pink’ from a copper start, the head full and white. The nose seemed be a mixed fruit baskets worth of everything, sweet citrus to more sour, grapefruit and lime style smells, you can add a couple of melons in there if you wish. Slight maltiness as it warmed a little. The taste was also very fruity and a mixture of flavours. Different and not too sure I liked it. Certainly not to my taste buds compared to the other three on the flight.

Keg at Monkey Paw, 21/04/14. Clear golden amber with reddish hues and a moderate white covering that retains well. Nose is grapefruit, orange squash, light pine, bitter hops, straw. Taste comprises bitter grapefruit, pine, orange pith, light booze, bubblegum, candied orange peel. Medium + body, fine carbonation, semi aggressive hop bitterness in the close. Decent DIPA.
