Saturday afternoon before Grimsby Town play at Tamworth (we won 2-0). Hand-pulled pint in the excellent Sir Robert Peel pub, 17th Nov 13, where this is a common sight. Good amber body with a full head, the barrel had only just gone on and I had the second pint out of it. Malty and semi-sweet in both the nose and taste, most of my mates had another it was so good, but I noticed a couple of other brews I needed to try. Caramel and toffee notes throughout and full bodied, this is a good blend, even if the Landlord wouldn’t tell me which beers it was a mix of (not sure he know actually). Very drinkable and full marks to the brewer and blender.
