3rd Oct 2013: Fighting Cocks, Oakengates: hand-pulled half. Nice golden body, fairly thin white head. Mild hop aroma without being ’hoppy’. Fruity notes as it warmed in the glass. The taste was a pleasant blend with the hops just about leading the way over the semi-sweetening malts: I liked it.

On cask at Greyhound Inn, Coventry - Hazy golden body, thin lasting white head. Light hoppy aroma, nothing too distinguishing. Seemed more in tune with a golden ale with the light fruity taste, very little afterwards, an okay beer.

Burnley Beer Festival. Golden with a creamy head. Mid-hopped with a fruity aftertaste. This is an easy to drink session ale.
