Handpull cask at the Marquis Wellington, Leicester. Light brown, very translucent with a creamy white head. Chocolate malt and hazelnut scent with a metallic note. Tastes sweet at first then an odd and frankly unpleasant umami note of sweat. Sweaty ass-ish finish. Starts okay then goes downhill.

Cask-conditioned at the Old Spot, Dursley 14/5/2016. Brown in colour, with a decent, off-white, head. Caramel notes, some sweetish malts, a touch of fruit and gentle finish. Fine.

Cask at the Wellington; deep clear mahogany red pour with a bubbly light tan head, caramel and dark fruit aroma, taste is woody with some wet autumn leaves, a hint of toffee.

Hand-pulled pint in The Crown Inn, Oakengates on 17th July 2013. Looked and tasted like a typical good UK Mild: dark with a tan head which stayed as well as giving some heavy lacing. Chocolate and coffee notes in flavour and nose: rich for a Mild and most enjoyable.
