Fles 50cl thuis. Maltig, hoppig, zacht, zoet, bittertonen, licht würzig, grassig, honing, caramel. (14-1-2022).

50 cl bottle poured into a Dimpled mug. Slightly hazy golden colour with a frothy white head. Sweet aroma with grasses, fruits, herbal and spicy hoppy notes. Pale malts. Taste is light bitter. Dry and bitter finish with bread and grasses. Excellent Lager, good with a hearty German dish.

Bottle from Westhill SS. It pours clear yellow - gold with a small, frothy white head. The aroma is quite sweet, doughy white bread, brioche, sponge cake, cornbread, cereal, grain and some general fruitiness. The taste is crisp, dry, snappy, grassy, sweet doughy white bread, sponge cake, cracker, peppery spice, splash of American cream soda, corn bread and custard creams with dry finish. Average body and moderate carbonation. Maybe a touch sweet, but enjoyable anyhow.

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - bright yellow with thin but attractive white lacing. Nose - sweetcorn, light hop spice. Green beans. Taste - malt, sweetcorn and green herb. Palate - light bodied, long persistent but very balanced final. Overall - great stuff.

Weihenstephaner Winterfestbier, Flasche von Getränke Hoffmann, Teltow. - Satt goldgelb, blank. - In der Nase etwas schwereres helles Malz, Sahnebonbons, milde aber frische Zitrusfrucht, feine Süße, dezente Hintergrundherbe. - Antrunk füllig hellmalzig und schön getreidig mit feinem Zitronenöl und milden ätherischen Kräutern; dezente Süße, Kandis. Milder rezent, vollmundig. Im Abgang milde herbale Herbe. - Malzschweres, frisch zitronig gehopftes Festbier. Sehr angenehm. (11.11.2020.)

Flaska från Hopt.se. Gyllengul klar vätska nästan helt utan skum. Riktigt maltigt på ett lite rått sätt. Aningen maltsyrlig, smör, bröd, brödkryddor i eftersmaken. Ok men inte Weihenstephaners bättre.

Herb-malziger, süffig würziger Beginn. Süffig, mild herb, unspannend. Moderat herb, mittellanger Abgang. 10/8/9/9//9

Bottle picked up from REWE, Zolling and consumed at home Attenkirchen Saturday 7th December 2019 listening to Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show on 6Music just eaten a fab Chicken stuffed with Cheese and wrapped in Pancetta with a selection of Roasted Vegetables and a Mustard Sauce. Pours gold with a white head, malty with a lovely soft mouthfeel, a little overipe fruit, a tinge of dryness at the end. This is excellent.
