Tap at the Brauhaus - 27/04/12. Hazy orange in appearance with a thick dollop of white head. Banana and a little citrus on the nose. Fruits and a little yeast in the flavour which has a crisp finish to it. Decent hefewieze.

Bottle @ Mega Bavarian Beer Tasting in Schlitz. Cloudy, golden orange appearance with a white head. Yeasty, rich banana, tart citrusy nose. Tangy, orange creamy, banana cream pie, bready yeasty flavor.

Säuerlicher Antrunk mit erfrischender Tendenz. Leider ist das Bier wässrig, schon einfache Hefenoten kommen nicht mehr durch. Leider wird das Bier so schnell eintönig, es bleibt immerhin die erfrischende Komponente, die später aber unter der allgemeinen Trockenheit leidet. Da bleibt nicht mehr viel zu sagen – ein erfrischendes Weizen, dass den Charackter einer milden Berliner Weisse hat! 10/9/9/8/10/9

Bottle. Sweet-sour banana/lemon and wheat malt aroma with hint of cloves. Cloudy orange-amber color with small head. Mildly sweet-tart lemon, light banana and wheat malt flavor. Lighter body. Okay but on the light side.

Bottled. Hazy yellowish golden colour, big creamy/fluffy white head. Aroma is wheat, some cereals, fruityness, mild herbs and some yeastyness. Flavour is wheat, fruits, yeast some earth as well as some bready malts. Pleasant, but a bit different from the masses.

Tan-bronze colour. Cloudy. Light fruity hop nose with clean banana. Quite banana-accented, fairly sugary but gains wheaty tartness towards the finish. there’s some footy funk late as well, detracting from the overall presentation.

Draught at the brewpub. Dark orange colour. Big stable white head. So sparkling that the head is overflowing. Weak banana aroma. The flavour also has some banana, quite fat and ripe note. There is a little citrus to balance. One of the better examples of a Hefeweizen.
