330ml can [vintage 2023, 9.8% abv]. Darkest brown colour with small, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, beige head. Sweet-ish, caramel malty aroma, hints of malt lozenge, a touch of toffee, whiffs of liquorice. Taste is caramel malty, minimally dark malty, slightly alcoholic, hints of caramel, malt lozenge, a touch of toffee, liquorice; some alcoholic bitterness, additional bitterness from a touch of burnt caramel; warming, alcoholic finish. Creamy texture, smooth and soft palate, fine, soft carbonation. A tad boozy; no wrong flavours around but they don't come in a fashion I like - meh!
