Crowler from 2 Rupees. Black with a tan head that gradually fades to a fat coat. Aroma has quite prominent whisky, vanilla, nuts, roast, chocolate, spices. Soft and medium bodied with chocolate brioche, , nuts, decent spicy bitterness. Aroma whilst nice suggested there was going to be too much whisky barrel for the beer, but no, the balance is lovely. I can imagine a bigger version with more of a roasty rumble working well, but this is good as it is.
