19.06.2018 -- 0.33l bottle from edeka in heidelberg, as "Eichbaum Naturtrübes Kellerbier", bb 11.02.2019. pours a hazy pale golden with a mountainous head. aroma of apricots, caraway, perfume. flavour of lemon zest, apricots, hay, slight spruce. hoppy and aromatic. is it the same as "Eichbaum Kellerbier"? I'm confused. the abv ratio is the same at least.

Bottle (thanks to the Lake of Constance!):Hazy, golden, small to medium-sized white head; strawy and papery nose, some grains and cooked vegetables dectable; moderate bitter-sweet flavour with a slight acidity, light bodied, a bit fizzy; the slight acidity (+ metallic traces) returns in the short bitter-fruity finish. At least drinkable, but no pleasure. A typical Bier of an industrial brewery...

Bottle. Milky pale yellow, white foam. Light citric and grassy hop aroma, light mealy malt. Medium light body, chewy, nice grassy hops, some grains. Pleasant.

Hazy yellow with little white head. Aroma is citrus, mint, some yeast. Taste is harsh, bitter, like a pils. Overall drinkable.

Hazy yellow color with white head. Aroma is grainy, yeasty, minerally, lemon skin, some earthy hops. Taste is grainy, yeasty, a bit citrusy, mint (lemongrass?), more herbal-earthy hops. Medium carbonation. Really not spectacular, but drinkable.

33cl swing top bottle from trade with kevnic 2008. Pours slightly hazy pale golden colour with a huge good lasting white head. Aroma of pale malt, mild floral grassy hops, hay. Taste of mild grassy hops, hay, pale malt, okay!

a) Test vom 10.2.2008. Sehr schön süffiges und angenehm herbes Bier. Leicht hefig weist es einen angenehmen langen Nachgeschmack auf. Dabei ist es nicht penetrant herb - ein schönes Bier!

b) Rating 20.03.2016. Many thanks to kevnic2008 for this bottle. Smooth dusty beginning. refreshing, a bit grainy. Smooth and easy to drink. The aftertaste is a bit wet card board, neutral bitterness with hints of grain. Sessionable, but grainy with sweetish-neutral bitter hints.

The bottle looks good, for the 400. jubilee of Mannheim. The beer in the glass looks not so good, a little bit turbid, not much foam. Flavor starts sourish, finish is vapid. Not really a good beer.
