Bottle, 4.5%. Metallic and bready aroma. Clear shiny dark golden colour. Big stable chalk white head. The flavour is citric with hay and grass. Mellow bitterness and subdued maltiness with a faint hint of fresh white bread. Fairly watery.

Seems strange drinking a low ABV Kasteel. Foamy white head left a froth on a clear deep golden coloured body. Belgian yeast & herbal aroma - smells similar to other Kasteel beers, must be the yeast? Medium bodied, smooth on the tongue with a sharp back. Belgian yeast, citrus, herbal & confectionery tastes with a long bitter finish. Refreshing in the Tropical heat & Gale force winds. The wind was actually blowing the top off the beer!

Bottle from Fountainhall Wines, Aberdeen. It pours clear yellow - blonde with medium white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, doughy bread, sponge cake, lemon poppy seed muffin, custard creams, grass, lemon curd and bread & butter pudding. The taste is crisp, dry, fairly clean, decent bitterness, grassy, spicy, straw, sponge cake, white bread, custard creams and dull estery fruit switch a dry, spicy finish. Lightish body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Decent quencher.

--Keg at Pressklubben, Stockholm. -- Clear pale golden, firm mid sized head. Grassy, spicy nose. Dry with light body and clean, crisp mouthfeel. Spicy grass, crisp bread and notes of butter. Mid bitter finish. Easy going and drinkable.
