Bottle thanks to AJ. Pours a dark brown with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is bourbon, oak, roast, smoke. Slick body, roast, dark chocolate, licorice, boozy finish, very good.

4oz sample at NBC Taproom. The aroma Is masehed grain, chocolate, coffee, and light Bourbon nuances. Wow!! Dear god!
The flavor is rich and deep. Layers of chocolate, roasted grain, spent mash, and smooth luscious bourbon. The alcohol is noticed without a doubt but not in a "slap me in the mouth" kind of way. A little bit of cellaring with make this off the chain good. Really nice, bold imperial stout. It is an eye opener!

Draft/Fest. A- Whisky, chocolate, espresso, brownies. A- Black color, black liquid, brown head. T- Chocolate sauce, dark chocolate, brownie batter, espresso, subtle booze, smooth. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, complex finish. O- Oh my. I wish this wasn’t a special release. I want this as a regular beer. This is quite possibly the best beer brewed in Nebraska. The barrel aging doesn’t overtake this beer like most and only adds an enhanced level of complexity. As fresh as this was, it was unbelievably smooth and rich. Very tasty and I wish I had a bottle or two to hold on to and drink later on.
