Double dry-hopped with homegrown Yakima hops, Bottomcutter IIPA may be light in color, but it’s packed with citrus and pine hop character. This imperial IPA is brewed to finish dry, perfect for the combination of Citra®, Simcoe®, and Equinox™ hops. As the bottomcutter is a tractor that leads the topcutter through the fields during harvest, this beer will lead to a new appreciation for our valley’s hops.

4oz pour at Ballard taproom. Pours clear gold with small white head. Aroma has pine and thick malts, some dankness. Flavour has pretty aggressive hop expression: pine, resin. Pretty solid.

Can from Tavour. Pours dark gold with a moderate white head. Aroma of citrus/pine. Med body or more. Flavor is roasty malt supporting citrus/pine. Lightly malty; arguably dryish. No question about bitterness. It is bitter. Some toffee in the finish, but just a little. Very, very tasty.

Pineapple and orange peel. Golden pour with decent head. Decent body, bitter finish. Not bad but have been spoiled with west coasters recently and this one is just ok. Bitter end. Can.

12 ounce can. Pours a clear orange hue with a small white head. A nice smooth citrus nose. Big resin, oranges, a bit of sugary sweet base. Really smooth, very flavorful. Damn good.

This is another one of those ipas or double ipas where the brewery tries to hop on the East Coast band wagon by claiming there's some Citrus in there and I really don't get much of it at all. Lots of resin maybe hints of citrus that's about as far as it goes. It's a fairly decent West Coast style.

Six pack from Lep-Ro-Kan. Bright golden, orange tones, small wispy head. Strong, potent hoppy aroma. Taste too is strong hoppy bitterness, some citrus, sweet, tangy, stinging. And smooth, too. Pretty top notch IIPA

Can, several of them, over the holiday weekend. Vibrant golden color with a thick finger of white head. Thick lacing throughout. Aroma is pure hops... citrus, tropical fruits, and pine. Tastes very flavorful with hops. Sweet and bitters come together seamlessly. Hop nectar flavors of citra, pineapple, and pine. Very big, but very smooth. Loving this style of DIPA.
