Double dry-hopped with homegrown Yakima hops, Bottomcutter IIPA may be light in color, but it’s packed with citrus and pine hop character. This imperial IPA is brewed to finish dry, perfect for the combination of Citra®, Simcoe®, and Equinox™ hops. As the bottomcutter is a tractor that leads the topcutter through the fields during harvest, this beer will lead to a new appreciation for our valley’s hops.

(can, 35.5cl) Hazy to cloudy, orange-golden colour with short foamy head. Grapefruity, slightly exotic and herbal- spicy hops, also hints of licorice. Moderately bitter and delicately sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with a soft carbonation. Initially slightly sweet malty start with fruity and slightly resin-spicy hops; lingering hop bitter, fruity and spicy finish with a warming alcoholic touch. 27.III.17

Cloudy amber with large white head. Aroma is grass, leaves, some tropic fruits, slightly phenolic. Taste is bitter malt and fruity hoppy something. Almost smooth, only a bit mealy on the tongue, full bodied. Very nice.

Can. Hazy golden-amber color with nice creamy eggshelly head. Aroma is dank, floral, earthy hops, citrus and peach, resinous, tropical fruits, some toasted malts. Taste is toasted malts, dank, resinous, spicy, earthy, again peach and floral hops. Oily mouthfeel. These people really show a supreme knowledge of how to use their fresh hops. Again: supremely drinkable, and very nicely inserted spicy-earthy "old world" hop flavours.

12oz can, courtesy of riversideAK, pours with a near clear gold body that supports a white head of foam. The modest aroma offers up grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple and a mild malt sensation. The taste delivers a pleasing blend of juicy and bitter hops. I get bitter grapefruit and tangy pineapple bleeding into grapefruit and tangerine like hop juicy bitterness. The bitterness grows deeper into the sipping experience but remains restrained and cohesive. This is a real nice drinking IIPA that borders on being dangerously so.
