Draught Thick tan head, huge & stable over virtually black beer. Booze, Bourbon being unmistakable. Very faint ureum. Roasted malts, but smelling sweet. Intense sweet-raisiny and Bourbon tatste, with just enough vanilla not to be off-putting. Sweet grapes, alcohol and fusels. Sticky, viscous, luxurious feel; good carbonation, alcoholheat. Quite good - really sweet but not cloying.

330 ml can. Pours a dark brown with moderate head. Aromas of sour mash, oak, chocolate, dark fruit and soft roasted malts. Flavors of green oak, bourbon, dark chocolate, soy sauce, and oily roasted malts. Investing.

Can. Pitch black, diesel oil black, tiny beige head and not lasting even a second. Strong cocoa, chocolate nose, biscuits and caramel as well - nice dessert. Solid chocolate sweetness, some syrup and berries. Medium bitterness, some alcohol warmth. Quite warm later on. Slightly roasted aftertaste. medium full and silky body.

The cookies and cream definitely don't scream pastry stout, more like hinted on the finish and nose, but heaven hill barrels are delish by default and the base stout is also pretty damn good. Medium bodied mild chocolate and chicory hints on the finish.

Can from Etre. Thick inky black color with a thin tan head that persists. Big roasty licorice and burnt maltiness with plenty of warming alcohol to go around.
