In mythology, the raven can play tricks or otherwise disobey normal rules, hence the name Trickster. This well-balanced IPA has a light fruit, citrus and piney hop aroma with a full hop flavour.

Tap. Rather clear copper color with small tan head. Aroma is piney, hops, forest floor, toasted malts. Taste is forest floor, bitter, clean, bitter and dry finish - the bitterness is quite pronounced. Oily mouthfeel. Nice classic West Coast IPA.

Can. Pours a clear amber with a slight copper hue and a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has some sweet grains with a decent amount of pine, some sweet resin and a hint of grass. Flavor has more of a strong pine with a light wood note, some earthy grains and a hint of sweetness in the finish.

Lots of pine and some citrus. Good balance, and very well done for style. Pours golden amber with decent lacing, not much head. Finish is quite bitter. Notes of pineapple. Nicely done. Draft at Seattle Taproom.

Deep copper with an off white head. Sweet floral and fruity citrus notes, melted caramel in the aroma. Medium to full body with light carbonation. Flavor is on the sweet malty side of the IPA spectrum. It has very nice citrus and floral hop notes but it’s very balanced with that toast and melted caramel piece from the aroma. Very smooth and balanced. Not a hop bomb, just a well-crafted IPA.

650 ml bottle Nate P. carried back from his West Coast trip. Color is an orange / clear gold. Aroma is citrus, light floral with sweet malts.
The balance between hops and malt is rather good although it does lean a tad on the sweet side. The hops and bitterness comes from a mixture of citrus and pine and mild floral hints. The brew shows a mild trace of alcohol in the finish. Citrus and floral are more present than pine. Can tell this bottle was fresh from the brewery because the hops are still alive in well. It a nice standard IPA.
