To create Guinness 0.0, the St James’s Gate brewers start by brewing Guinness exactly as they always have, using the same natural ingredients; water, barley, hops and yeast; before gently removing the alcohol through a cold filtration method. The cold filtration process allows the alcohol to be filtered out without presenting thermal stress to the beer, protecting the integrity of its taste and character. The brewers then carefully blend and balance the flavours to ensure the distinctive flavour profile and taste characteristics of Guinness.
The resulting product is a stout that is unmistakably Guinness, just without the alcohol, featuring the same dark, ruby red liquid and creamy head, hints of chocolate and coffee

0.44 l can shared with Dougie. Huge thanks. Toasty, caramely, sugary. A fruity touch. A bit hard to pick out. Watery. Slightly bland. Soft carbonation. Dark bread flavour, some caramel. Abrupt finish.

50cl Blik van AH. Bijna zwart, mooie romige beige kraag.

Can at home from Morrisons online. A jet baclk coloured pour with chestnut hues in the light with a dense cascading magnolia head. Aroma is woody roast, creamy, bark, hints of chocolate, Flavour is composed of semi sweet, mellow roast, light tang, bark, creamy, malt loaf, riasin , light char. Palate is semi sweet, rounded, light tang, nitro roundness. Very nice for a low boost option.

Can thanks to my bro. It sure looks the part - jet black with a thick, dense tan head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, quite a lot of milt chocolate, definite sweetness, maltesers, mars, mocha coffee and a touch of of chewy liquorice. The taste is dry roasted malt, pleasing bitterness, mild sourness, toasty, earthy, umami, liquorice, coffee grounds, milk chocolate, pipe tobacco, charred action and peppery spice with a dry, dark roasted finish. I commend them on what they have accomplished here. Not think or insipid like many low abv versions of popular beers. A quality and well realised edition.

Very good. Don’t know if one could even tell the difference between the regular version. Nearly identical. Maybe a touch more sweetness that’s not balanced. Albert heijn Amsterdam

Hah. Looks like guinness, smells like guinness, even tastes quite close to the real thing. A bit more light of course, maybe a bit more roasty. Very drinkable.
