This our second collaboration with our friend and Michelin star chef Brad Carter, inspired by the scent and colours of the meadows surrounding our brewery. 330ml bottle, 4.8% ABV.

A Pils malt base is the backbone of this beer in which Tettnanger hops have been used for their hay and floral character, enhancing the herbal notes of the foraged wildflowers. Meadowsweet, elderflower and woodruff have been sun-dried and infused into the beer, resulting in an intensely floral potpourri.

It's like a lagery stroll through a blooming garden.
We hope you enjoy!

Bottle from HOTM. Cloudy gold with a small white head. Aroma and taste has a lovely meadow floral note with sweetness and grass, biscuits, malt, light fruity resin. Light crisp grassy bitterness in the finish. Light to medium bodied but slick. Superb lager.

18/3/2022. Bottle from Hoptimism. Train beer on the way to a day out in Northampton. Pours clear golden with a large frothy white head. Aroma is floral, grainy, malty, herbal. Medium plus sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, slightly oily, average carbonation. Increasing bitterness to finish. Not its biggest fam.

Bottle from the Beer Garage. Appearance - hazy yellow with a nicely proportioned off-white head. Nose - lemon, cornflour, saffron and meadow flowers. Taste - lemon, saffron again, light floral bitterness. Palate - light bodied, light and well measured bitterness. Overall - I really like this.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from Premier Hop. Pours just slightly fuzzy yellow with a creamy, white topping. Lightly sweet with notes of sun-kissed pale grains, nips of grass, straw, dry biscuits. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Nicely balanced finish, more subtle grassy bitterness, dry pale bread, biscuits, husky grain. Enjoyable. It grew on me.

Bottle online from the brewery. Pours very lightly hazed golden with a white top. Aroma: sweet malts, meadow flowers, hay. Taste: moderate sweet & light bitter, dry, bread, hay but the most prominent flavour is flowers which completely take over. Light body with low-ish carbonation. I'm not sure the woodruff was a good idea in this beer, it's marmite at best. Really odd beer, but props for the experimentation.
