Got a sample from Erzengel many moons ago. Thanks a lot mate! Intensive vanilla, cocoa and nuts with maple sirup on the nose. Taste is nutty, vanilla, pale malt, coconut, and homemade maple sirup. Some barrel wood. Thick texture. Totally hidden alcohol. Really nice one.

Dark chocolate, maple syrup, bourbon, slight peanut finish. This is really good stuff!

Dark brown, inky. No head. This has a big bourbon note, light peanuts, some cocoa and a bit of maple. Thick body. Very little carbonation. There's some maple in this, with a light peanut character as well, and a touch of vanilla. Thick malts. Balanced.

Vintage 2021. Pours black with no head. Aroma very chocolate and peanut forward. Flavour dark chocolate, peanut, some bourbon notes. A bit of boozy warmth on the finish. Mouthfeel relatively light and smooth. The balance between chocolate and peanuts is very well done.

375mL bottle, pours black with a tiny tan head. Aroma is loaded with tons of toasted peanuts upfronts, followed by a touch of maple, gentle bourbon, and a touch of roast. Flavour reveals plenty of bourbon and peanuts upfront, with some alcohol burn and dark sugars. Not too much peanut character, nor is it artificial, and the bourbon rounds this out nicely. Very nice.

Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass deep black, almost no head. Intense roasty-malty aroma, notes of some sweets. Starts intense roasty-malty, loads of wood, bitter chocolate and bitter coffee. Hints of vanilla, some syrup. Warming-malty finish. Really nice!

37,5 cl bottle @ Jyrchi, batch #1375, BBE 28.06.2026 Aroma has licorice. Flavour has alcohol, licorice, sweet and sticky malt. Drinkability could be better. Quite typical überstrong imp.

Sample (thanks fonefan). Black colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is maple syrup, some liquorice, alcohol, mild spices, vanilla and fudge. Flavour is vanilla, maple syrup, fudge, very sweet malts, some spices and a bit of alcohol. Very smoothly balanced.
