Tap at Pozoj Fest, Zagreb. Blackish body, off-white head. Chocolate, orange notes, maple, quite nice. Chocolate, vanilla, citric touches, alcohol, coconut? maybe I misidentified the peanut presence, some alchool bite. Nevertheless, quite nice.

Tap at Fermentoren. Pours opaque black with small light brown head. Aroma is intense roasted malt, soy sauce, espresso, lactose, vanilla, oak barrel, cocoa, roasted peanuts, maple syrup, bourbon whiskey and salty liquorice. Taste is medium sweet, light bitter, faint acidic and light to medium salty. Body is syrupy with faint carbonation. Finish is very long, intense and mostly sweet with notes of roasted malt, malty syrup, liquorice, cocoa, coffee, soy sauce, gravy, beef stock, maple syrup, peanut butter, toasted bread, muscovado sugar, dark dried fruits and oat meal. Very rich and intense but in excellent balance.

Bottle. A black to dark brown beer topped by some dark beige bubbles. The aroma is quite hefty, lightly maple-ish, with dark chocolate, peanut, roasted malts and a burnt hint. Wood, vanilla and some notes of licorice. It's full bodied, quite sweet, with a very soft carbonation. Warming, sweet flavor with booze, peanut, maple suryp, some dark chocolate and a good dash of cocoa and coffee. Lasting finish. A bit boozy and hefty, but really nice anyway. The peanut addition was interesting and nice. 220129
