Pours black with a small tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, cocoa, maple syrup, oak, vanilla, coffee and hint of peanut butter. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long warm chocolate, coffee, nutty, vanilla, oak, cocoa and maple syrup finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Keg at BMT - Hackney Wick. Pours oily black-brown with a minimalist, creamy tan head. Roasted malts in the nose, bourbon. Medium to big sweet flavour, first mainly dark chocolate then some tasty maple syrup, relaxed bitterness, mild gooey vanilla, coffee, ash. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Warming finish, some further sweet maple, bittersweet cocoa. Damn tasty overall.
