Bottle picked up at Edeka Lenggries and consumed sat in Frank at Lenggrieser Mountain Camping, Thursday 5th January 2023, we've got a Chilli Chimichangas for tea tonight with all the trimmings. This pours reddish brown with an off white head, lots of caramel and toffee and a very soft carbonation, not so strong tasting, there is a little backend fruityness.

Sample from bottle at Ambar. Amber gold, very nice flavor: woody, nutty caramel-chew with just a hint of bitterness balancing the sugars. Really nice and quite complex.

Huge thanks to Erzengel for sharing! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass brownish, small head. Malty sweetish aroma. Starts quite sweetish, some notes of brown sugar, woody, hints of some candy. Finish more balanced, still sweetish malty. A bit too sweetish for me.

Many thanks to Stefan in the 1st German local swap. Grainy malty beginning. Roast, burned sugars. Dry roasted in the end, not too deep but sessionable and still full bodied. Nice round and smooth, grain with a caramelly burned moderate bitter finish.

33cl bottle. A clear reddish/amber beer with a small beige head. Aroma of reddish malt, red fruits, pine. Taste of red fruits, pine, berries, brett, caramel. A bit too old, sadly!

Dunkler, wenig süßer Malzantrunk, leicht oxidiert, getreidig. Mild herb, im Mittelteil kommen schokoladige Noten auf, alkoholische Nuancen, süffig. Rund, getreidig bleibend, wenn auch leicht abnehmend. Geringe Karbonisierung. 10/9/10/9/8/9

Bottle: A bit unclear, ruby-amber coloured, small and slowly collapsing loose off-white head; fruity-caramelly nose ( first phenolic signs of infection already detectable...), some toasted malt underneath ; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied, pretty soft; slightly lingering bitter-sweet finish with caramel, toasted malt and warming alcohol in the aftertaste. Drinkable, but all in all disappointing...

Brown with little white head. Aroma is slightly burnt caramel, toffee, nuts, phenols, spices, muesli. Taste is blood, iron, roast, bitter and sweet. Too much metal for drinkability. Full body, spicy, oily. Nah.

Bottle, thanks jonas! Dark amber color with white ring. Aroma is prunes, fresh, cereals, orange juice. Taste is malty, cereals, some prunes. Oily mouthfeel, soft medium carbonation. Excellently balanced Bock - maybe a tad too light.

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, dark amber to brown colour with a medium-sized and slightly tanned foamy head. Mildly roasted dark malty aroma with notes of caramel, nutty hints, shades of molasses and a mildly touch of herbal-spicy hops. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium to full bodied with a smooth carbonation. Dark malt, slightly roasted taste with notes of bread crusts, caramel, a nutty edge and delicately herbal spice; lingering and rounded dark malty and mildly spicy hoppy finish. Well-matured and more-ish dark Bock. 22.XII.16
