Dark copper brown with a decent beige head. Dark tea and a nutty note. Light bitter and toffee with a touch of nut.

Keg at BD Dalston - London. Pours clear brown with a lasting, foamy off-white head. Lightly sweet, some subtle toasted brown bread, nips of berries, soft leafy bitterness, earth. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with more lightly toasted bread, leaves and berries. Tasty, easy-drinking stuff.

Keg at Brewdog Tower Hill. A clear deep copper coloured pour with a lasting beige head. Aroma is thick burnt tar, smoked liquorice, little dungy, burnt plastic. Odd. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, layered malts, malt load, liquorice, fennel, rubber, dry finish. Palate is dry, powdery carbonation. Unusual.
