(Draught at Purgatorio, Lund, Sweden, 8 June 2024) Black colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with coffee, liquorice, dark chocolate and tobacco. Malty, roasted taste with notes of coffee, dark chocolate, liquorice, tobacco and a balanced roasty bitterness in the finish. Tasty and well balanced porter. Nice one.

Sample (thanks omhper!). Very deep brown, close to black, colour with a mediumsized off-white foamy head. Aroma is coffee, roasted and some mild herbal and wooden tones. Flavour is coffee, some roasted tones with some nutty elements as well as toasted malts. Some slight grassy bitterness along with the toasted, nutty and roasted elements.

Tap at Stormgatan - Taproom by Hyllie Bryggeri, Malmö (15/04/2023) - Dark roasted and sweet malty with layers of chocolate, caramel, liquorice, a touch of singed brown sugar, nice mouthfeel and body, dark malty lingering finish. Great no nonsense Porter.
