Bottle from braustelle, thanks Axel! Nose is coffee, vanilla, wood, citrus. Palate is chocolate, wood, coffee, whisky tang. Very nice.

33cl bottle. Pours dark brown colour with a huge good lasting brownish head. Aroma of dark roasted malt, dark red fruits, wood, whiskey, coffee. Taste of dark roasted malt, red fruits, wood, vanilla, hints of whiskey, toffee, some tart fruits.

0.33 l bottle from ’CraftBeer-Dealer.com’ as ’Braustelle Czarina’, best before February 2017. Black with a medium large, relatively fluffy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish, moderately roasty, quite smoky, slightly fruity and a little sourish aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, dark ripe fruits, peat, iodine and hints of oak. Quite sweet, moderately roasty-malty, smoky, slightly fruity and a bit sourish taste of dark chocolate, coffee, lots of peat, iodine, dark ripe fruits and oak, followed by a long, moderately roasty-bitter, peaty and woody-dry, almost vinous finish. Medium body, smooth but quite effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Very tasty and well-balanced Imperial Stout with a decent amount of peat and wood. Mouthfeel lacks a bit, but the tastes makes definitely up for it.

Tap. Black color with small beige head. Aroma is roasted, chocolaty, slightly fruity and tart. Taste is chocolaty, rich, but not too intense. Fine-bubbled ticklish carbonation. I like it a lot!

Dunkel malziger, sehr weicher Antrunk. Röstig alkoholisch, deutliche Schokoladenromen. Die Whiskynoten können dabei immer stärker hervor, frisch, würzig. Langer malziger Abgang, sehr weich, keine Bitterkeit, geringe Holzigkeit. Zwischenzeitlich leider wässrig. Gut. 8/12/12/13//12
