Can from Beer52. Pours a near black with small tight beige head which lasts nicely. Aroma is roasty, dried fruits, chocolate, slightly yeasty and earthy. Taste is very moreish being sweet, roasty, lots of chocolate, dried fruits, tangy fruit and roast bitter finish. Well balanced. Medium bodied, smooth, fine carbonation. A very good session porter.

22/4/2023. Can from LowCostBeer.com shared at SBGP2. Pours clear very dark ruby brown with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma is nutty, chocolate, light roasted malt, dark fruits. Medium sweetness and moderate roasted bitterness. Moderate body, slightly creamy, average carbonation. Nice bitterness to finish. Decent. 8383-13.35

Can from Beer 52 – drunk at home. Pours almost black with a small cream head. Chocolates and dark fruits in the aroma. Mouthfeel is a bit curious. Sometimes I get roasted malts and blackcurrant, other times it’s chocolate, coffee and nuts. Sweetness varies as well. Finish is long as slightly bitter. A bit strange overall – but I like it !

[33cl can from Beer52.] A dark ruby red pour with a fast fading coffee coloured head; malty aroma with a touch of chocolate; taste of deeply roasted malts and cocoa; and a dry coffee finish with lasting bitterness from the roast. A nice Porter.

Thin beige head on a dark reddish brown body. Malt, liquorice & coffee aroma. Medium bodied, smooth & lively in the back. Malt, coffee, aniseed & spicy tastes with a tangy nicely hopped finish. Good one.
