Bradford Beer Festival 2024. Very dark black-brown appearance. This was the 4.5% chocolate hazelnut edition. Roasted, with chocolate more evident than its nut in both aroma and taste, it's a tasty dark malt cask brew.

Half pint on cask at the draughtsman alehouse. Medium creamy beige head. Clear almost black pour. Sweet chocolate aftertaste.

12/4/2019. Cask at the Draughtsman @ Doncaster Station. Pours mid to dark brown with a ruby tint and a lasting slightly frothy beige head. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malt, dark fruit, sweet toffee, vanilla and lactose. Medium sweetness and moderate roasted bitterness. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Tasty brew, very drinkable.
